As part of our 'Fabulous Festivals' topic in Reception, we have been learning about the Muslim festival Eid, which celebrates the end of fasting during Ramadan. In class we have been very enthusiastic in all of the activities that we have been doing so we were rewarded with an Eid party on Friday. We all dressed in party clothes, played party games and had a jolly good time! In preparation for the party we made our own Wedhmi pastries and Mrs Lamb came into school to help us make our sweets for Eid. We also tried traditional indian food to learn about food from other cultures. We have had lots of fun! Hannukah next week then onto Christmas!
