As part of our creative curriculum the 'Rainforest Zoo Lab' visited our school. We had the opportunity to take a close look at a variety of animals like the great African Snail, a millipede, a red velvet snake, a stick insect, a flower tarantula and some black whistling cockroaches. We learned lots of new and interesting facts like did you know a cockroach can live up to 4 weeks without its head ! A snake never blinks ! A millipede can grow up to 750 legs and whatever a snail eats its poo will be the same colour as the food........nice!
