Just before half term, Reception class were rewarded with a tea party thrown by Jim the Giant to say thank you for all of their hard work.
Jim came to visit us on the morning of the party but he was too tall to fit in the classroom so we went out into the yard to meet him.
We played games, danced, sang and even did a catwalk on the stage to show off our party clothes! We all enjoyed the party and ate food that Jilly, Jim's wife had prepared for us and enjoyed the sweet treats that parents sent in.
After the party, all of the parents were invited into our classroom to look around and to watch a Powerpoint that showed what we have been learning. It was a great day when everyone had fun. We can't wait to begin our next topic on Old Mc Donald had a Farm!
