On Tuesday 8th June the Year 5's kicked off the World Cup with an assembly entitled 'Send My Friend To School'. Send My Friend To School is a national initiative aimed at raising awareness that 72 million children are not able to go to school. The children have also written letters to our local MP and will be sending a petition from the parents, and a scarf with their signatures on, to Mr Cameron.
