Year 6 enjoyed a fabulous day at Beamish Museum on Wednesday as part of their Creative Curriculum topic 'The Box Of Delights'. The class took part in a wonderful evacuee experience and then spent the rest of the day exploring the many sights of Beamish.

Our trip was really good and we met some animals, two cows called Daisy and Henry and one colossal pig called Miss Winky everyone said she was ugly but I thought she was cute.She ate an apple all in one. I loved the trip and it was much better because I was with the best class in the world!!!

I had loads of fun on this trip. The 2 cows were called daisy and HERBERT! Miss Winky was cool but NOT cute to me. We all had our gasmasks made by us, my favorite part was the sweetshop I got free samples of honey comb!YAY! I had a great time cant wait till next trip.

I really enjoyed the trip to Beamish. I especially enjoyed going on the evacuation bus which we had all to ourselves!!! We all had our names tags on our coats and our gas masks in our boxes and we even took Barnarby with us. It was really fun when all the lights went off and the Blackout begun!

I really enjoyed tis trip and wish I could go again, i miss all of st peters and hope that this year's yr6 can enjoy some of the things that we did!!!
