On Monday 8th June, Year 5 were lucky to be able to take part in a Mandarin Workshop, led by 4 Chinese students from Durham University. We crammed so much into the session, learning:
- lots of interesting facts about China
- some conversational Chinese phrases
- Chinese songs and games
- how to count to 10 in Chinese
- some T'ai Chi moves.
One of the students treated us to a recital on the flute of some Chinese music. Thanks again to the students for giving us this wonderful opportunity to discover and experience their culture.
