In Reception we have been exploring melting and freezing different materials.
We began by putting some water in the freezer and guessing what it would look like when we took it out of the freezer. Would it be a solid or a liquid ? What shape would it be ?
The next day we discovered the water had turned to ice, it was solid !
Today we decided to explore chocolate, mmmm! We found that when we added heat to the chocolate it turned from a solid to a liquid. We then added rice crispies to the chocolate and made crispie cakes. We will let you know what they tasted like !
