This coming Friday, Year 2 and 3 are involved with a Sing - Along day at the Dryden Centre with lots of other schools from Gateshead. This year's theme is songs from home and abroad and we have been practising lots in school to be ready for the day.
The day itself should be lots of fun with a range of songs being included, as well as a story teller who always has lots of interesting things to say!
Each school has been asked to perform their own item on the day, so Year 2 are going to use all of the skills they have learnt with Mrs Porter this year and sing "Jim along Joe" (with soloists!) and the "Oliver Twist" song with actions.
Year 3 are going to capitalise on Mrs O' Donnell's lessons and are performing "There were 6 in the bed" all sang in French of course!
