Barnaby's half term travels!

Barnaby travelled to three different continents in the half term holiday. Thank you to all three families who took him with them and sent in some lovely photographs to show everybody!

Barnaby travelled with the Mason family to South Africa. He visited traditional markets, table mountain and the hot sandy beach. Whilst he was there he saw lots of exciting things, even some penguins! There are a few photographs here on the website and even more on our classroom display.

Our busy, world travelling bear also went to Paris and Euro Disney with the Smith family. He saw the Champs Elysees, The Eiffel Tower and he even met Mike from Monsters Inc. when he visited Euro Disney. Apparently he had a great time there and even went on some rides!

Finally, Barnaby travelled to Scotland with the Gifford clan! We have got lots of exciting pictures up on our display and it shows exactly what you can do when you visit Scotland. Barnaby saw lots of exciting places and monuments including at Water Wheel at New Lanark, the Falls on the River Clyde and an old school at New Lanark.

Barnaby shared the memories of his travels with the rest of the class and us all about his journeys, he know he is such a lucky bear to be taken to so many lovely places. Thank you once again to the parents and children who have allowed him to holiday with them and for their invaluable contributions, they are very much appreciated!

Wow, what a busy bear Barnaby has been this half term. I wish I'd visited all of these places too! I'm really glad he comes back to St Peter's to share all his stories and photos with us all.
